Sometimes you have to take the plunge and do something different. Covid-19 has been hard for small businesses, large businesses, employees and humans. My heart hurts for the friends that have lost their job because of a pandemic, but this may be the nudge to become their own boss and create the business that they have been dreaming about for years, but were afraid to step out of their own comfort zone.
Because of these hard decisions on what's next for people, I have partnered with Germanna Community College Center for Workforce and Community Education in their Business & Professional Development Team to offer two non credit courses. My first course will be an eight week course, Sept 21-Nov 9, The New Small Business Owner Essentials Course. My years of experience in helping new small business owners has been one of my ideal clients in my coaching practice ranging from from Non-Profits to For Profit businesses. This online course is designed to help a person who is considering opening a business and we will explore the many processes required to open a business and have a comprehensive action plan. You will receive resources, have a solid understanding in what is required by the State, complete a personal assessment, learn the importance of being able to communicate your product or service, understand your specific target client profile, branding, marketing, advertising and wellness planning. The second course is a one day course that will be offered on Oct 17, Nov 21 and Dec 12. This course is The Entrepreneur's Vision Board Workshop - Online. This one day course offers a plan to create goals is essential to every person who wants to have balance in work, home and life. This Vision Board Workshop will help you understand and clarify the goals you are seeking to achieve while we focus on the importance of creating goals and dreams that are essential to your core values and core mission in home and business.
